Vasilis Kekatos, the first Greek director to clinch both the Short Film Palme d'Or and the Queer Palm at Cannes for his 2019 short The Distance Between Us and the Sky, is now venturing into television with his debut series Milky Way. Airing on MEGA TV, this coming-of-age drama follows 17-year-old Maria, whose dreams of becoming a dancer are disrupted by an unexpected pregnancy, compelling her to challenge societal norms in a conservative mountain town.
